Scientists build a 'Library' of skin samples to unlock disease secrets
NCT ID NCT03146676
Summary
This study aims to collect and store blood, skin, and swab samples from patients with and without certain skin conditions. The goal is to create a resource for future research to better understand how diseases like hidradenitis suppurativa work. It involves 175 participants who are already seeing an Ohio State University dermatologist. The study itself does not test treatments but gathers samples for future scientists to analyze.
