Summary

This study looked at whether a special training program for primary care doctors could help them better find and treat early-stage melanoma, a serious skin cancer. Fifty-four doctors from two clinics took part. The goal was to see if the training improved their knowledge and skills in spotting suspicious moles and deciding when to refer patients to a skin specialist.
