New skin booster from human tissue shows promise in wrinkle fight
NCT ID NCT07155278
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed Phase 4 trial tested whether a skin booster made from human tissue (phADM) plus hyaluronic acid works better than hyaluronic acid alone for wrinkles and skin texture. Twenty adults received three injections on one cheek with the combination and on the other cheek with HA alone. Researchers measured wrinkle depth, skin density, volume, and lifting over 20 weeks to see which side improved more.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
particulated human acellular dermal matrix (phADM) combined with hyaluronic acid
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a more effective option for reducing wrinkles and improving skin firmness and texture.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-phase trial with only 20 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The improvement over existing treatments may be modest.
