Scientists seek clues in tears and saliva to unlock mysteries of dry eye disease

NCT ID NCT05056012

Summary

This study aims to collect long-term follow-up information from people who previously took part in a dry eye research study. Researchers will gather samples like tears, saliva, and blood, and perform eye and mouth exams to better understand how dry eye and Sjögren's syndrome develop over time. The goal is to learn more about the features of these conditions, not to test a new treatment.
