First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a six-week training program using a technique called 'accentuated eccentric load' (focusing on the lowering phase of an exercise) could improve dynamic balance and maximum strength in 15 healthy young male football players. Participants did supervised training and were tested before and after. The goal was to see if this approach helps athletes perform better and to guide future training methods.
