Could a simple bath ease pain after pelvic surgery?
NCT ID NCT07215780
Summary
This study is testing whether taking warm sitz baths after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse helps reduce pain and improve recovery. Researchers will compare pain levels in women who use sitz baths versus those who receive usual care after their operation. The goal is to find simple, effective ways to manage post-surgery pain and potentially reduce the need for opioid painkillers.
