First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking sitz baths (soaking the pelvic area in warm water) after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse helps reduce pain and improve recovery. About 112 women will be randomly assigned to either a sitz bath routine or standard care. The main goal is to measure pain levels one week after surgery using a standard questionnaire.
