First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a peer navigator program can help African-American women who have finished breast cancer treatment better understand and follow their survivorship care plans. About 145 women who are 1-12 months past treatment will be randomly assigned to receive peer support or standard care. The goal is to see if the program improves quality of life and adherence to recommended follow-up exams.
