Summary

This study tested a new treatment for children with a rare and hard-to-treat cancer called yolk sac tumor that had come back or not responded to standard chemotherapy. The treatment combined the drug sirolimus with a three-drug chemotherapy regimen. The goal was to see if this combination could shrink tumors and improve survival. The study involved 32 children aged 18 or younger.
