First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether using a smartwatch, a connected water bottle, and a mobile app can help people who have had kidney stones drink more water as their doctor recommends. 216 adults with a history of kidney stones and low urine volume took part. The goal was to see if these tools make it easier to follow fluid intake guidelines and reduce the risk of forming new stones.
