First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether transplanting healthy nasal bacteria into people with chronic sinusitis can reduce symptoms like congestion and discharge. About 50 adults with long-term sinusitis will receive either a real transplant or a placebo, and then switch groups. The goal is to see if this approach provides lasting relief without the need for ongoing medication.
