Summary
This study tested a new balloon catheter called SINOMED CBC for treating narrowed coronary arteries. It involved 136 patients with stable or unstable angina or evidence of heart muscle ischemia. The device was compared to a standard balloon catheter to see if it was as safe and effective at opening blockages during angioplasty.
