Back surgery pain relief: one injection or two?

Summary
This study tests whether giving a nerve block at one or two spots in the back provides better pain control after lumbar fusion surgery. Sixty adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either a single or double injection of numbing medicine. Researchers will measure pain scores and painkiller use for 24 hours after surgery to see which approach works best.
