Gum surgery showdown: single vs double flap for periodontitis

Summary

This study compares two types of minimally invasive gum surgery for treating deep gum pockets caused by periodontitis. Fifty adults with advanced gum disease will be randomly assigned to receive either a single-flap or double-flap surgical technique. Researchers will measure gum healing, bone changes, and patient comfort over 12 months to see which approach works better.
