One tiny cut: new robot aims to make uterine cancer surgery less invasive

NCT ID NCT07027046

Summary

This study is testing a new, more advanced robotic surgery system for treating early-stage endometrial (uterine) cancer. The goal is to perform the necessary cancer staging surgery through just one small abdominal incision instead of several. Researchers will enroll about 564 patients to see if this single-port robotic approach is safe, effective, and helps patients recover with a better quality of life.
