One-Shot radiation trial aims to zap prostate cancer in a single visit
NCT ID NCT07407608
Summary
This study is testing whether a single, high-precision dose of radiation can treat prostate cancer with similar side effects as the standard five-session treatment. It will involve 58 men with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread. Researchers will carefully compare side effects, especially urinary problems, between the one-dose and five-dose approaches over several months.
