Summary
This study tested a computer-guided method to find the right dose of simvastatin for people with liver cirrhosis and high blood pressure in the liver (portal hypertension). Twenty-two adults with mild to moderate cirrhosis took part. The goal was to see if this personalized dosing could improve blood flow in the liver and reduce side effects.
