First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a special wearable vest called SimpleSense to see if it could measure heart function as accurately as the standard invasive procedure (right heart catheterization). The study involved 13 adults already scheduled for the catheterization. Researchers used the vest's data to develop algorithms for estimating cardiac output and pressures in the heart and lungs.
