Free gym benefit goes unused: can a simple call get seniors moving?
NCT ID NCT06782347
Summary
This study tests if a simple program of mailed information and a couple of phone calls can help seniors with arthritis start using a free gym membership they already have through their insurance. Researchers want to see if using this benefit, called SilverSneakers, leads to better mobility, less pain, and fewer doctor visits. They are enrolling about 1,450 seniors across the U.S. who have arthritis but have never used their SilverSneakers benefit.
