Summary
This study will test a new type of CT scanner that uses silicon-based detectors to take detailed pictures of the heart. The goal is to see if it can provide clearer images of coronary arteries while using less radiation and contrast dye than current scanners. About 1,000 adults referred for a heart CT will be scanned with both the new and standard machines to compare image quality.
