This study investigates whether silent brain infarcts (small stroke-like spots seen on MRI) are linked to cognitive decline in people who have had a spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (a type of brain bleed). Participants undergo cognitive tests, brain MRIs, and blood draws during hospitalization and at 3, 6, and 12 months afterward. The goal is to understand if these silent infarcts can serve as early warning signs for vascular-related memory and thinking problems.
