Viagra tested to clear cancer 'Chemo Brain' fog

NCT ID NCT06800092

Summary

This study is testing whether sildenafil, a medication commonly known as Viagra, can help prevent or reduce the 'brain fog' and severe fatigue that often come with cancer treatment. It will involve 30 women with a specific type of breast cancer who are receiving standard chemotherapy. Researchers will measure changes in memory, thinking, and tiredness, and also look at gut bacteria to understand how the treatment might work.
