Breath tests seek hidden cause of stubborn digestive symptoms
NCT ID NCT07479238
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients with pancreatic problems continue to have digestive symptoms and weight loss even while taking standard enzyme replacement pills. Researchers will use simple breath tests to check for a condition called SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) in 100 adults. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors better identify treatable causes of these persistent symptoms.
