First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how shoulder pain impacts joint awareness, balance, touch sensation, and muscle strength in people who have had a stroke and have lasting weakness on one side (hemiplegia). Researchers measured these factors in 78 participants to better understand the effects of shoulder pain. The goal is to help improve treatment approaches for post-stroke shoulder pain.
