New study aims to solve mystery of shoulder implant loosening

This study looks at how the bones in the shoulder joint touch each other in people with shoulder arthritis, both before and after they get a shoulder replacement. The goal is to find out why some shoulder implants loosen over time. Researchers will use special X-rays and CT scans to compare patients with arthritis to healthy volunteers.
