Summary
This study tested a new ultrasound-guided nerve block (PENG block) against standard IV sedation for reducing a dislocated shoulder. 42 adults participated. The goal was to see if the nerve block provides effective pain relief while avoiding sedation risks like breathing problems. The study measured hospital stay length, reduction time, and pain scores.
