Could less treatment be just as good for myeloma?

Summary
This study is testing if stopping a key injection drug (daratumumab or isatuximab) after about 18 months works as well as continuing it indefinitely for older adults with multiple myeloma who are not eligible for a stem cell transplant. About 570 participants who have already responded well to initial treatment will be randomly assigned to either stop the injection or continue it, while keeping their other oral medications. The main goal is to see if the shorter treatment schedule controls the cancer just as effectively while potentially reducing side effects and treatment burden.
