First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 2-month combination of four drugs can cure tuberculosis (TB) in children under 10 as safely and effectively as the current 4- to 6-month treatment. About 860 children with drug-susceptible TB will take either the shorter or standard regimen. If successful, the shorter treatment could be easier for children to complete and reduce the burden on families.
