Two weeks vs. six weeks: race to find faster prostate cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07500701
Summary
This study is testing whether a much shorter, 2-week course of radiation is as effective and safe as the standard 6-week course for men whose prostate cancer returns after surgery. It involves 270 men who have had their prostate removed but show signs of the cancer coming back. The goal is to see if the shorter treatment works just as well at controlling the cancer while being more convenient and potentially reducing side effects.
