Two weeks vs. two months: race to find gentler prostate cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT05038332

Summary

This study compares two radiation therapy schedules for men who have had prostate cancer surgery. It tests whether a shorter 2-week treatment (5 sessions) affects quality of life differently than the standard 4-8 week treatment. The main goal is to see if the shorter schedule maintains or improves patients' bowel and urinary function over two years while still controlling the cancer.
