Faster brain cancer radiation: a Game-Changer for patients?

NCT ID NCT05781321

Summary

This study is comparing a new, shorter radiation schedule to the standard, longer one for treating glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Researchers want to see if the shorter treatment, which delivers higher doses over 1-2 weeks, works as well as the standard 3-6 week treatment and if it causes fewer side effects. The trial involves about 170 adults with glioblastoma and will measure survival, safety, and quality of life.
