5-Day radiation vs. 15 days: can a faster treatment work just as well?

NCT ID NCT03077841

Summary

This study is comparing two ways to give radiation after breast cancer surgery. It tests if a shorter, 5-day treatment that targets only the tumor area is as safe and effective as the standard 15-day treatment. The goal is to see if the shorter course can control the cancer just as well while potentially causing fewer side effects and being more convenient for patients.
