Could 2 weeks of radiation be as good as 3 for breast cancer?

NCT ID NCT04175210

First seen May 23, 2026 ยท Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study compares two radiation schedules for women with early-stage breast cancer: the standard 3-week course versus a shorter 2-week course. About 400 women took part to see if the shorter treatment is as safe and effective at controlling cancer and reducing side effects. The goal is to make treatment more convenient without compromising results.
