Two weeks vs. four weeks: race to find faster, gentler prostate cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT04422132

Summary

This study is testing if a much shorter, 2-week radiation schedule is as safe and effective as a standard 4-week schedule for men whose prostate cancer returns after surgery. It will compare side effects like bowel and urinary problems, quality of life, and how well the cancer is controlled. The goal is to find a more convenient treatment that doesn't compromise results.
