One shot vs. three: can we cut hospital time for sick kids?

NCT ID NCT04876131

Summary

This study is comparing two antibiotic treatments for children with complicated urinary tract infections (UTIs). It will test if a single dose of IV antibiotics followed by pills is as effective as three days of IV antibiotics. The goal is to see if kids can get better just as quickly while spending less time in the hospital.
