Could a fewer radiation sessions fight breast cancer just as well?

NCT ID NCT07076485

Summary

This study is testing whether shorter courses of radiation therapy are as safe and effective as standard, longer courses for breast cancer patients who have had surgery. It will enroll about 768 men and women at higher risk of their cancer returning. The main goal is to see if the shorter treatment causes fewer side effects while still controlling the cancer.
