Five days of radiation instead of weeks: new hope for breast cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a much shorter, 5-day course of radiation therapy for women with early-stage breast cancer who have had a lumpectomy. The goal is to see if this shorter treatment is just as safe and effective as the standard, longer courses. Researchers will closely monitor 280 participants for side effects and cancer control.
