NCT ID NCT06442748

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares a short course (6 months) versus a long course (2-3 years) of the seizure medicine levetiracetam in 604 adults with brain tumors who have been seizure-free for 6 months. The goal is to see if stopping the drug earlier can reduce side effects like drowsiness and coordination problems without increasing seizures. Participants must have a primary brain tumor, a history of seizures, and be stable on levetiracetam alone.
