First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares taking the seizure drug levetiracetam for a short time versus the usual 2-3 years in people with brain tumors who have been seizure-free for 6 months. The goal is to see if stopping earlier can reduce side effects like drowsiness and coordination problems without causing more seizures. About 604 adults with primary brain tumors will be randomly assigned to either a short or long treatment course and followed for 2 years.
