NCT ID NCT07659457

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app called 'Compra con-Migo' (Shop with Me) can help adults with intellectual disabilities learn how to shop at a supermarket. The app uses NFC technology to guide users through tasks like planning a shopping list, finding products, and paying. Around 20 to 40 adults aged 18 to 65 who attend therapy centers in Spain will use the app twice a week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure changes in their shopping skills and independence before, during, and after the training.
