Shock wave therapy may boost hand recovery after tendon surgery

Summary

This study tests whether adding shock wave therapy to standard hand rehab can improve movement, reduce pain, and increase grip strength after a flexor tendon injury. About 56 adults who are 8-12 weeks past tendon repair surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this extra treatment helps the hand work better and feel less painful.
