First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding extracorporeal shock wave therapy to standard treatments (physical therapy and steroid injections) helps people with frozen shoulder. Frozen shoulder causes pain and stiffness, and recovery can take months or years. The trial will enroll 94 adults aged 20 to 80 who have had shoulder pain for at least a month and limited movement. Researchers will measure pain and disability using a questionnaire to see if the extra therapy improves outcomes.
