Sound waves for stronger knees? new therapy aims to speed ACL recovery

NCT ID NCT06688344

Summary

This study is testing if adding a non-invasive shock wave treatment to standard physical therapy helps people recover better from ACL knee reconstruction surgery. Researchers will compare two groups: one gets standard rehab, and the other gets standard rehab plus weekly shock wave sessions. They will measure improvements in muscle strength, balance, knee motion, pain, and overall function.
