First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at how well the Shingrix vaccine works in people with HIV compared to healthy adults. Shingrix is already approved to prevent shingles, but researchers want to see if it triggers a strong immune response in people with different CD4 counts. About 225 adults aged 18 and older with HIV, and healthy adults aged 50 and older, will receive two shots of Shingrix and be followed for one year.
