First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how well the shingles vaccine (Shingrix) works in adults with kidney failure who are waiting for a transplant. Researchers want to see if giving an extra dose after the transplant boosts the immune response and how long protection lasts. About 132 participants will be followed for up to 3 years, with some receiving a third dose after transplant and others not.
