Shingles shot may shield seniors from heart attack and dementia

Summary
This large study in Denmark will give the shingles vaccine (Shingrix) to about 162,000 adults aged 65 and older to see if it lowers their risk of heart attacks, strokes, and dementia. Half will get the vaccine, half will not. Researchers will track health records for several years to compare outcomes.
