New vaccine trial aims to protect transplant kids from shingles

Summary
This study is testing a shingles vaccine in children aged 1 to 17 who have had a kidney transplant and have a weakened immune system. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and helps their bodies fight the virus that causes shingles. About 184 children will take part, receiving two doses of the vaccine or no vaccine for comparison.
