Can talking it through keep bipolar episodes at bay?

NCT ID NCT03245593

Summary

This study is testing whether a 'shared decision-making' approach helps people with bipolar disorder stick to their long-term medication plan. It involves 300 adults who have recently recovered from a mood episode. Researchers will compare this collaborative approach to standard care to see if it leads to better medication adherence, fewer relapses, and improved quality of life.
