Summary

This study looks at whether a tendency to feel shame can help predict suicide attempts in people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Researchers will follow 688 adults with BPD for up to 5 years, tracking their shame levels and any suicide attempts. The goal is to better understand what leads to suicidal behavior and find ways to prevent it.
