Summary

This trial tests whether using surface-guided radiation therapy (SGRT) with an open-face mask can make radiotherapy more comfortable and precise for people with head and neck cancer. Forty newly diagnosed patients will be randomly assigned to receive radiation with either the open-face mask and SGRT or a standard closed mask. The study will compare positioning accuracy, patient comfort, and protection of nearby healthy tissues.
